Coffee bar

After searching and searching for a new coffee nook idea, i finally found an idea I couldnt live with out! I wish I could take all the credit, but I got this adorable idea from here... http://thevintagewren.blogspot.com/2012/10/my-coffee-bar-linky-party.html and had to replicate it! I had the vintage coffee/sugar/tea containers already (thrift store) and also already had the 'recipe for a happy home' sign (Hobby Lobby). I love it!

Urban decay-Naked basics matte palette

I'm so in love with the simplicity of this makeup palette! ALL of the colors are matte and very basic. It gives the look of a simple nude eye that will go perfect with day & work wear. I use the matte black color over my eyeliner for a long lasting all day wear. Its a nice simple change from vibrant sparkly pigments. This is a must for any makeup collection!

February 2013 Before & Afters

She loved the first Ombre technique on this page so much that she wanted to do a shorter version on her hair! It really softens the harsh all over icy blonde look and this picture doesn't really do the color justice. It softened her skin tone and matched her darker features so much better!

I was SO in love with this color choice we did. It brightened her face and brought out her beautiful facial features more than ever. This really is an amazing tone on her!!

Another Soft Ombre technique that isn't so severe with the different colors. I'm in LOVE with the Ombre technique. There are so many different variations you can do, the possibilities are endless! 

Valentines Day 2013

I wasnt expecting much this year because I knew Id be at my salon for 10hrs for Vday. But not only did i get one but TWO bouqets of flowers! (one from gpa roland and my sweet hubby). And a yummy dinner waiting at home for me! Perfect ending to a hectic crazy day.

Ive been meaning to make time to really organize my kitchen... Or at least start the process. It needs a lot of help, and i've been really procrasting the whole thing. So i went to walmart and was shocked by the good selection of things they had. Im so happy with the small outcome that made such a BIG difference.
